Q: Is all furniture made from solid woods?
A: Almost. The bottoms of drawers and some internal support structures are made of high quality, veneer plywood, to avoid problems from wood movement with changes in humidity. All other components consist of carefully selected hardwoods.

Q: Do you deliver and set up your furniture?
A: We will deliver and set up furniture within a radius of 100 miles from Banner Elk, without charge. Delivery over greater distances can be negotiated for an additional fee.

Q: How long will it take to have a piece made?
A: Since I make all pieces myself, the length of time required will depend on the commissions already placed, as well as the time required to design and create the specific piece in question. I will be happy to provide a time estimate with any order, and will work very hard to meet that schedule.

Q: How do I pay for commissioned pieces?
A: At the time a commission is undertaken, I ask that 50% of the price be paid in advance. The remainder is expected at the time of completion.

Q: Can the pieces I see be made from different woods than those pictured?
A: Most pieces can be made from a variety of different woods. I would be happy to discuss accomodating your wishes for any selection.
